Lucy is now 7 months 3 weeks and 1 day old! She is scooting around (backwards) on her belly, sitting up unassisted, and babbling da da da, bla bla bla and na na na. Recently she has started to try to pull herself up into a standing position, using anything that she can reach. It is so exciting to watch her try new things and it makes my heart flutter to watch her beaming with pride when she masters a new skill.

She started cutting her first tooth about 3 weeks ago and now has one very tiny and sharp little tooth and another trying to push through.

Lu loves to eat, but you can probably deduce that from looking at her picture. She has now moved onto eating some solid food, but is still gets most of her nutrition from mommy's milk. Avocados, pears and yogurt seem to be her favorites and she loves, loves, loves drinking from a cup.

Although, she has her moments of frustration, Lucy continues to be a pretty easy going girl and loves to socialize, especially with other babies, but she seems to have a huge smile for everyone she meets.
